New Year, New Changes
|
|
The New Year brings fresh challenges and changes and we will be saying goodbye to employees who will be missed greatly; Jenny Bateman from the sales team is retiring after nine years of service. Having worked full time all of her life, Jenny explains that she will miss all of her colleagues here, as well as the beautiful scenery and grounds. She is departing to spend more time with parents and family, and has plenty of DIY plans to keep busy. Ron Eaglestone, Executive Head Chef will also be retiring after twenty years of service. He has ensured the smooth running of the kitchen due to his excellent management skills, and the food experiences (especially his puddings!) are one of the key memories for all who visit. Ross Hughes, who joined Missenden Abbey at the age of 16, has joined the sales team from his previous role at reception. He said he is looking forward to developing his career and the new challenges that lay ahead. Jonathan Dean from the Food & Beverage department was appointed as the new Receptionist for Missenden Abbey. |
