Wedding Drama

After the Christmas snowfall the Abbey was the perfect setting for a white wedding. However there was some December drama for one of our brides getting her guests to Missenden.  Forward thinking, her parents had arranged a bus with snow chains to transport the guests, but on the journey the chains broke, leaving them stranded. With a flash of inspiration the bride’s father went home and trundled back on his tractor and collected the guests.  To add to the drama, the snow made it impossible for the bride to wear her glamorous shoes, so wedding co-ordinator, Natasha Venuti, leant her a pair of snow boots to arrive in!
