Surrounded by ten acres of stunning grounds, this fine 12th century Abbey offers all you could wish for to make the whole day truly unforgettable. Enjoy canapés and champagne on the manicured lawns and capture spectacular photographs by the lake. Host a glorious wedding breakfast within the vaulted ceilings and stained glass of the Abbey function rooms.

 

We can accommodate for up to 100 guests with the facilities to cater for a sit down meal. We are also able to accommodate for up to 150 guests for the evening reception.

For the ultimate mix of a lawn wedding with Missenden Abbey as the backdrop you have the option of a Marquee for 50 to 150 guests.

There are 6 bedrooms within the Abbey building we reserve for your Wedding and we have a further 51 comfortable bedrooms in our adjacent residential building that your guests may book.

You will have exclusive use of the main abbey building for the period of your hire. As you will appreciate we may have other customers staying in our adjacent residential building who will have use of it’s bar and dining areas.
